Introduction

Wisdom (Chochmah) brings to understanding (Binah) and understanding brings to knowledge (Daas). With this knowledge, one can fill the room of ones home with precious and pleasant riches".

The house and the riches are a parable for the Middos and the Neshama. With Chochmah, Binah and Daas (Chabad), one can build one’s home, one's Neshama, and fill it with Hoin Yokor V'noim (precious and pleasant riches).

Yeshivas Tomchei Temimim's very foundation is one of Chochmah, Binah and Daas. It imbues in its students wisdom, so that each talmid can go on and build his own, and help others build their own "Hoin Yokor V'noim".

Life is full of emotions, events, and encounters. Each one creates a memory. Some are more memorable than others. Then there are those moments… unforgettable… frozen in time… never to be forgotten...

Let us take a peek into the precious moment depicted on the cover. Father and son, walking down a path. A father is bringing his son to Yeshiva for the very first time. So many hopes and dreams are infused into this one moment. If one listens closely, one can hear the prayer forming in this father's heart.

A heart full of emotion,
supplication.
Praying fervently,
at times wordlessly.
"Ono Hashem",
see to it that my treasure,
grows up to be whole, Tomim, and pure,
may he be imbued with the wisdom and the knowledge,
of your everlasting presence,
and with this knowledge may he go into the world,
leaving his own unique mark upon it.
May the home he builds,
have chambers overflowing,
with precious and pleasant riches,
of Torah, Avoida and Gmilas Chasadim.
May he continue the unbroken chain of our heritage
dating back to our holy forefathers
and may it continue throughout the ages".

The father then steps back,
waves,
watches,
and keeps on praying.
Suddenly, the knowledge that his child is in a Yeshiva whose very foundation is one of Cochmah, Binah and Daas embraces him,
at once calming his turbulent emotions,
pacifying him,
putting him at peace.

He starts walking away. He knows he is Hashem's partner, and with Siata Dismayah his prayers will be answered. He whispers one final prayer: "Thank You Hashem for this treasured moment".
